Gate City: The Mint

A math game set in the same world as Gate City. Twelve gates teach the times tables from 2 to 12 and column addition and subtraction, carrying, borrowing and borrowing across zeros, as a mix of the written method and the mental strategy behind it, each with its own visual model. Every problem is read aloud, so a player whose reading lags their math is never stuck on the words. Each solved problem is a strike against a counterfeit coin, and clearing the district rebuilds the Master Die and mints the First Coin.
