Brian Burke designs and builds custom software at Creosote Labs.
He builds with Claude Code. Every project on the Work page was designed and built that way, from a river outfitter's trip operations to a podcast editor and a course builder.
Before Creosote Labs he was the COO of a venture-backed technology startup, where he worked with hundreds of venture capital partners.
He has taught adults for more than ten years, and he teaches the Creosote Labs courses on building your own software with Claude Code.
He studied philosophy at the University of San Francisco. He is also a licensed real-estate agent and a landlord.
